We are so glad you are here.

If you have any questions, please reach out, we would love to hear from you.

Annika (she/her) is an Endorsed private midwife and an Internationally Board Certified Lactation Consult (IBCLC) based in North-East Tasmania. She has lived here most of her life and is proud to call this corner of Tas home. Annika grew up in Scottsdale but most of her work as a midwife has been based in Launceston and feels a deep sense of community with the families here.

Annika has worked as a midwife in the public system for eight years, mostly as an MGP midwife (Midwifery Group Practice). In 2022 Annika completed a Masters Degree in Primary Maternity Care which inspired her to change up her career and start providing private midwifery care.

Annika is here to care for families around Scottsdale and Bridport as well as those in Launceston. She is offering you and your family a safe space to learn about your pregnancy and postpartum options, and breastfeeding journey in the comfort of your own home - no referrals needed!

Annika spends a lot of her free time at the beach with her dog Knox, knitting and crocheting, learning to grow veggies and getting stuck in to a good book!

Geraldine (she/her) is an Endorsed midwife and Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) based in Northern Tasmania. Geraldine grew up and trained in Ireland but has lived in Tasmania for long enough to see her clients kids start high school.

Geraldine has been a registered midwife for 15 years and a registered nurse for 17 years. She has over eight years experience offering continuity of carer in Midwifery Group Practice and most recently she has worked as a Lactation Consultant and clinical educator for the Tasmanian Health Service.

Geraldine has completed BSc. General Nursing from University College Dublin, Ireland, Higher Diploma of Midwifery, Trinity College, Dublin, Ireland, Masters of Primary Maternity Care, Griffith University, Australia and IBCLC Exam - International Board Certified Lactation Consultant.

Geraldine has a keen interest in education and providing individual family centred care to meet you where you are at, in your own home. From your first pregnancy appointment to your postpartum journey into parenthood.

When she is hands free, Geraldine is practicing acrobatics, knitting unfinished projects and walking in the wild places of Tasmania and beyond.
